A young boy is killed after being struck by truck in West Houston

A young boy succumbed to injuries he sustained after he was struck by a vehicle in the Waverly Apartments complex parking lot, located around the 2300 block portion of Hayes Road in West Houston on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. An investigation into the fatal accident showed that the 7-year-old male victim was riding his skateboard the parking lot of the facility laying down in the prone position when the driver's pickup truck collided with him.
